Featured twice as the Violin Channel's Rising Star of the Week, the Breshears String Quartet, also known as Stars Aligned Siblings / Little Stars Trio, is hailed as "quickly building an international following as an emerging young ensemble of enormous potential". The prodigious all-sibling string quartet ages 11, 14, 15, and 16-years-old, has won numerous awards in chamber music, including 1st Prize Piero Farulli International Competition where they also received the youngest ensemble award, the Gold Medal in the Saint Paul String Quartet Competition, including the Haydn Prize and BIPOC/Female Composer Prize, 1st Prize Kreutzer International Music Competition - Chamber Music Category A (age 18 and under), Winner "Ensembles" Cadenza Contest 2.0, 1st Place Chicago International Music Competition - Amateur Division, 1st Place & Outstanding Gold Medalist Award of U.S. Open Music Competition, 1st Place U.S. International Music Competition, 1st Place MTAC VOCE State Finals, 1st Place DVC-HNU Strings Competition, and 1st Place Sacramento Chamber Music Society Competition.

 

The Breshears siblings have appeared on NBC TV's Little Big Shots with host Steve Harvey and on ITV's Little Big Shots in the U.K.  They have toured internationally at festivals and events in the United Kingdom, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, and in the United States. They have performed as soloists and as a quartet at Iguazú en Concierto Festival in Argentina and at Festival Alfonso Ortiz Tirado in Mexico, Festival Napa Valley, and The Bear Valley Music Festival.  They have performed for corporate events such as WNDR22 in Montecito, CA and Workday Rising 2022 in Orlando, Florida. Breshears String Quartet also performs for community outreach events such as the National Guild for Community Arts Education Conference, Classics 4 Kids, and for Steinway Society sponsored outreach to local schools in their community.
